The Best Damn Romance Books To Read If You’re Lonely On Valentine’s Day - With Book Reviews
Valentine’s Day usually reminds us of one of two things: 1. How much someone means to us or 2. How little we mean to someone else. Ouch! Twitter would say, “Love yourself! You're a BEAUTIFUL, BADASS B*TCH.” And you’ll suddenly feel bad for wanting someone other than yourself to notice. It's okay to feel lonely on Valentine's Day. After all, it is National Love Day! My suggestion? Get cozy, grab a bottle of wine, and crack open a romance book. Whether you want to feel all the feels, or you're looking for something that'll help them stop, there's something on this list for you.
Here's Four Books To Read If You Don't Have A Valentine:
1. Seven Days In June by Tia Williams
As a writer, a two-writers-who-fell-in-love story is my kind of romance! Seven Days In June by Tia Williams will give you all the sexy, romantic, laugh-out-loud vibes you thought you'd be missing out on this Valentine's Day. We have it in stock! Just head to our Women Authors Collection. Here's a SBG chat with the author, Tia Williams:
2. Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

If you could use a good cry and you're not really in the mood to read about a fairytale, I recommend Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover. The romance is just an add-on; you'll cry simply because the story is real, raw, and human. And besides, crying is good for the soul, right? We don't have this one in stock, but It Ends With Us is also a romance novel by Colleen Hoover, and it’s the newest title in our bookshop! Go check it out after this post. Here's a book review by Nikki - without the spoilers:
3. People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry
Valentine's Day can make you feel like Poppy: running out of time and chances to fall in love. People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry is a story about friendship, transparency and of course, true love. Until yours find you, get lost in the main character's journey about realizing she’s in love with the person who knows her best - her childhood friend. We have it in stock! Just head to our Women Authors Collection after reading this post. Here's a book review by Sarah:
4. Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers

Last but far from least, Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers would be the perfect book for queer people who aren't quite sure who they want to spend their Valentine's Day with. Sometimes it takes a "mistake" to uncover who you’ve been all along. We don't have this one anymore. Should we restock it? Leave a comment below.
